Executor Buddy Privacy Policy

When you sign up, we collect the information you give us: your legal name, date of birth, state of residence, and any referral information. We also store the documents you choose to upload, and basic account information like your email and login details.

We use your information only to provide the service — to create and secure your account, organize your documents, and let the trusted contacts you choose see what you've shared with them.

Your documents are visible to you and to the trusted contacts you specifically grant access to. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We may share information only with the service providers that help us run the app (such as our hosting provider) or if we're required to by law.

We protect your information with AES-256 encryption at rest and encryption in transit (HTTPS), and Row-Level Security keeps each user's data separate so trusted contacts see only what you've allowed. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take protecting your documents seriously.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we'll remove it, except anything we're required to keep by law.

You can review, update, or delete your information at any time by contacting us at help@executorbuddy.com. You can also ask us what information we have about you and request that we delete it.

Executor Buddy is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date and version above.
